Synopsis

Oradour-sur-Glane, a village in Limousin where 642 inhabitants were exterminated by the Nazis on the afternoon of June 10, 1944. The film reproduces the stories of heirs of the victims' pain, echoed by that of the director whose grandmother saw her village in Russia burned down by German troops. Beyond its own tragedy, Oradour embodies something more universal, an emblematic mirror in which other disasters of humanity are reflected.
