Synopsis

At Ambiance Bois, a sawmill that processes wood from tree to home, the decisions are taken unanimously by the 25 versatile employees who earn the same wages, pick their CEOs and decide on their planning. Ambiance Bois is a SAPO, a company with worker participation, created in 1988 on the Millevaches Plateau in the Creuse. The film tells the story of a successful alternative to the dominant business model, made of human adventures and very diverse backgrounds which have in common the desire to take charge of one's life and give it meaning. An exemplary operation of a profitable and human company, which offers a different way of working.
