From Silence to light

Synopsis

Sophie Vouzelaud, first runner-up for Miss France 2007, was born deaf. With her parents, family, friends, teachers, doctors, she tells her story, that of a young girl like no other, isolated in her silence, rebellious but anxious to integrate into the world. The film evokes her suffering but also her strength and perseverance which allowed her to break the silence and put her notoriety at the service of all those who are excluded by their disability.
