Synopsis

In Lithuania, at the bottom of the Vilnius forest, a smoke stream rises from an old wooden building. It is the lair of filmmaker Sharunas Bartas, who has established himself as one of the most unique authors of contemporary cinema. He is the filmmaker of unanswered questions, of loneliness and exhaustion. His long frozen and inquisitive shots, maintained to the extreme, register his work at the edge of cinematic territory. Fascinated by his art, I wanted to approach him. I slipped myself into his team, into his family. I installed my bed in a corner of his bunker-studio in this strange creative laboratory, unique and wild ...
