Synopsis

Georges-Emmanuel Clancier is the passenger of a century full of noise and fury. This film is the privileged moment of a dialogue between a father and his son on their native land Limousin, and on their common passion for literature. Through more than fifty works, Georges-Emmanuel Clancier evokes this land of memory and resistance, the cradle of French-style socialism. His most romantic character, in which many Limousins have recognized themselves, is his grandmother, Marie-Louise, made famous by the adaptation for television of his novel Le Pain Noir by Serge Moati.
