Synopsis

Hakob Melkonyan, Armenian director, followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, through Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine and Russia, confronting the history of the Second World War with the reality of these former Soviet republics where conflicts persist in tearing populations apart.
